About EIPO
Within the internationalization strategy of Baku Higher Oil School, Erasmus + and International Programs Office, the first and only Erasmus + office among Azerbaijani universities, was established. While cooperating with more than 41 universities from 17 European countries, the office has so far attracted 159 people (63 students, 96 employees) to participate in exchange programs. In addition to developing 11 "Erasmus + International Credit Mobility" projects with individual universities, the EIPO team is also engaged in the development and implementation of "Erasmus + KA2 Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education" and "Jean Monnet" projects. In addition, the Office of Erasmus + and International Programs has established cooperation with 15 universities in Turkey under the Mevlana exchange program, and if the program is restarted, students will be able to actively benefit from exchange opportunities. EIPO coordinates the Erasmus + Program at BHOS, dealing with issues and procedures related to the organization, preparation and implementation of academic and administrative staff and student exchange programs. The Office of Erasmus + and International Programs of BHOS is engaged in the organization and management of procedures related to the implementation of exchange programs. EIPO guides and supports participants of exchange programs at all stages (visa, accommodation, course selection, contact with the relevant academic unit, study contracts, application forms, assessment adjustment, credit recognition, bank account creation if necessary, etc.). At the same time, EIPO actively cooperates with the national universities of Azerbaijan within the framework of various national and international programs for the sharing of best practices, the transfer of innovations and the development of the potential of higher education.
