About EIPO

Within the framework of internationalization strategy of Baku Higher Oil School, the Erasmus + and International Programmes Office established which is the first and the only Erasmus+ office amongst Azerbaijani universities. While cooperating with more than 12 universities from 8 European countries, the office has organized total 48 mobilities (36 student, 12 staff) so far. Besides writing 14 Erasmus + International Credit Mobility projects with different universities, EIPO team is engaged in writing and implementing Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building projects in the field of Higher Education (CBHE). Moreover, Erasmus + and International Programmes Office cooperates with 10 universities from Turkey in the framework of Mevlana exchange programme. While dealing with organization, preparation, follow-up, and procedures regarding academic and administrative staff, and student exchange programmes, EIPO has obligation for coordination of Erasmus+ Programme at BHOS. The mobility procedure of incoming and outgoing students and staff is comprehensively organized and managed by Erasmus+ and International Programmes Office of BHOS. EIPO directs all of the stages of mobility and supports the participants on series of steps such as, visa, accommodation, course selection, communication with related academic department, learning/mobility agreements, application forms, grading adjustment, credit recognition, creating bank account if necessary, and so on. Simultaneously, EIPO is actively cooperates with the national universities of Azerbaijan within the framework of different national and international programmes for sharing good practices, innovation transfer and developing the potential of the higher education.
