Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR has hosted the semi-finals of the Republican Subject Olympiad in Informatics, jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS) has hosted an intellectual competition in history dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. 

Vice-Rector of Bogazici University, Prof. Gurkan Kumbaroglu conducted a lecture on the topic “Energy Economy” at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).

The first textbook on renewable energy sources by Elmar Gasimov and Rovshan Abbasov has been published in Azerbaijan

​​​​​​​The book “An Introduction to Renewable Energy Sources” has been published in Azerbaijan. This is the first textbook on renewable energy issued in our country. 

Vugar Bayramov, a Member of Parliament, PhD in economics, has conducted a master class in Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR on the topic “Azerbaijan's economy in the context of global changes”.

Javid Mammadli graduated from Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR with a Chemical Engineering degree. He was admitted to Baku Higher Oil School in 2015 with 685 points.

Deputy Rector for International Academic Cooperation and Studies of Riga Technical University (RTU), Mr. Igors Tipans, and Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Research Department of RTU, Ms. Zane Purlaura-Porina, have visited the Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR.
