Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) held a reporting and election conference of the Trade Union. Opening the gathering, Chairperson of the Trade Union committee Habiba Hajiyeva announced the items of the agenda. Then reports on the BHOS Trade Union activities and on its control review committee’s work from March 3, 2015 to December 7, 2017 were made. The conference participants unanimously approved both reports.

After that, issues related to selecting a new Chairperson and members of BHOS Trade Union committee as well as members of the control review committee were considered. Among others, senior students of the Higher School were also elected members of the Trade Union committee, and BHOS Vice-Rector for Administrative and General Services Affairs Oktay Rzayev was elected the Chairperson.

The Higher School’s Trade Union was established on March 3, 2015 upon an initiative of Head of Azerbaijan Oil and Gas Industry Employees Trade Union Republic Committee Jahangir Aliyev and BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov.
