           Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov met with Director of National Representative Office of “MIR” Interstate Broadcasting Company in Azerbaijan, Honored Journalist Ilgar Pashazadeh and Editor-in-Chief Narmin Abbasova. Having welcomed the guests, Elmar Gasimov spoke about the role, which the national office plays in providing objective information about Azerbaijan to the audience in the Commonwealth of Independent States. He emphasized that journalists of the branch office of the “MIR” Interstate Broadcasting Company in Azerbaijan carry out successful activities on highlighting political, social, economic and cultural life of the country via “MIR”, “MIR 24” and “MIR HD” TV channels, which are watched by more than 140 million people daily.  

 

            Rector Elmar Gasimov expressed his congratulations to Ilgar Pashazadeh and all staff members of the Azerbaijan national representation on the 25^th anniversary of the “MIR” Interstate Broadcasting Company. In appreciation of the company services including activities on coverage of the Higher School work, success and events, he presented Certificates of Appreciation to the Director of Azerbaijani Office Ilgar Pashazadeh and Editor-in-Chief Narmin Abbasova. Ilgar Pashazadeh extended his gratitude to the rector for his kind attention and emphasized that the national representation of the “MIR” company attaches great importance to cooperation with BHOS.
