          Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) hosted an event, which is a part of EcoChange project implemented within “İnkişaf Zamanı” (Time of Development) program. The event was organized with support from the Higher School, Azerbaijan University of Languages and Camping Azerbaijan Eco Tour Agency and gathered students from BHOS and other national higher educational institutions. The project aims at raising public awareness of ecological and environmental issues. BHOS in the project is represented by Fourth-year Chemical Engineering student Ruslan Hashimzadeh.

 

          Director of Green Construction company Fuad Bagirov and company representative Rovshana Babayeva conducted a training course on ecological issues for the project participants. The training covered various topics including deficiency of air in buildings, excessive use of plastic cups and others.

 

          Baku Higher Oil School pays close attention to environmental issues and supports various ecological initiatives. Alongside other ISO international certificates, BHOS has been awarded with ISO 14001: Environmental Management Systems.
