AzApps Applications project being successfully implemented at BHOS

A project entitled “AzApps Applications” is being successfully implemented at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) with support from Youth Foundation under the President of the Azerbaijan Republic. As the project author, BHOS’ fourth-year Process Automation Engineering student Rahim Rahimli reported, its main objective is to deepen young people’s knowledge of information and communications technologies (ICT) and attract their attention to the opportunities offered by modern ICT. The project aims at developing youth’s logical thinking and raise their interest in Android operating system software in order to develop national Android’s applications.

 

In the project framework, five workshops are to be conducted. The participants shall learn how to create software applications for the Android operating system and gain experience in application development. Having successfully completed the training course, the young programmers will be able to develop various applications for smartphones in a short period of time.

 

At the end of the project, a contest among the participants will be conducted and the winners will receive certificates and prizes. In the meantime, the project participants have decided to create their own team to work on further development of software applications for Android operating system after the project is completed.
