Baku Higher Oil School work covered by international mass media
The Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) has published news articles covering initiatives and events of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). Press releases prepared and disseminated by the BHOS’ Public Relations department are regularly issued by Business News World, Weekly News Brochure, Tech News Coverage, Digital News World, Finance News Coverage, Online News Planet и many other international mass media including online news agencies.

This media coverage also helps us publicize our successes in preparation of oil and gas engineers whose professional qualifications meet highest international standards,” said BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov. He also emphasized, “Bringing international attention to the Higher School’s activities results from successful and professional work of the BHOS’ PR department”.
The Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies brings together more than 40 news agencies from member states of UNESCO in Asia-Pacific region. Azerbaijan is represented at OANA by the Trend national News Agency and Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC). On 16 November 2016, Baku hosted joint opening of 5th News Agencies World Congress and 16th General Assembly of Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies. President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev attended the ceremony. At the event organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and AZERTAC, Director General of AZERTAC Aslan Aslanov was elected as a new President of OANA and a new President of the News Agencies World Congress.
