The event dedicated to March 8, the International Women’s Day was held at BHOS. It gathered BHOS rector Elmar Gasimov, BHOS lecturers and students, students of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art.         

 

Opening the event BHOS rector Elmar Gasimov congratulated women staff members of BHOS on the occasion of March 8, the International Women’s Day extending his very best wishes of happiness, robust health and every success. He particularly focused on the role of Azerbaijani women in society, stressing that they possessed such qualities as courage and as mothers who always supported their family members they had always been thoughtful. One more time congratulating all women staff members including students BHOS rector handed them the gifts.

 

The event proceeded with the concert during which folk music group headed by Professor Zamiq Aliyev involving the students of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art performed folk, pop songs and traditional Azerbaijani mugam. Members of BHOS ‘Music Club’ also grasped attention of the audience with their unforgettable performances.
