The meeting with the parents of students studying in BHOS petroleum engineering programme was held at BHOS. BHOS vice rector for Training, Science and International Relations Ramiz Humbatov welcomed parents on behalf of BHOS rector Elmar Gasimov. Vice rector Ramiz Humbatov said that BHOS systematically held meetings with students and their parents. The main goal of such meetings is to carry out view exchange, discuss a number of issues especially assistance for first year students to get accustomed to the system of the higher school. One more goal of the meeting was to learn opinion of students and parents concerning education at BHOS, quality of education, the challenges faced by students while adapting to the new environment, providing closer communication with the students. Speaking about conditions created for students at BHOS, Ramiz Humbatov stressed that education and training related works were carried out at high level at BHOS. Vice rector particularly emphasized the events organized for students’ socialization and care and attention manifested by BHOS rector, management and all staff towards students. Touching upon organization of education and examinations vice rector pointed out that BHOS endeavored to educate highly qualified specialists at the same time fostering the spirit of patriotism in students.

 

  In turn talking about students’ social life BHOS vice rector for General Affairs Rashad Hasanov, head of BHOS student affairs department Habiba Sadigli, focused on the significance of students’ involvement in projects realized by BHOS. 

 

Head of BHOS English language and HD center Keklik Gozalova, lecturers of the center, head of BHOS Process Automation Engineering Manafaddin Namazov, psychologist Zarina Aliyeva talked about education, training, students’ adaptation to social life and gave their advices to parents.

 

The meeting proceeded by question and answers session. In conclusion parents extended their gratitude to BHOS management for organizing such meeting.
