   Most often people owe what they have achieved, acquired in their life to their knowledge and education. We think that everything we read and learned during our lifetime will always be with us and will come to our help when needed. However, suddenly you see that this is not enough. In such moments we learn more from the people who have rich life experience, successful career and high internal purity. Every meeting is a memory, and even if that meeting lasted few hours, nice impression and positive energy stays in the mind of a person forever. Even when the days pass, you cannot get wander off the influence of that day and good mood of that meeting. If you see the sincere, friendly attitude towards yourself, if the person in front of you with all sincerity gives you the courage to ask any question you want, it gives pleasant feelings.

 

I suppose, I wasn’t the only one to feel that way, we all felt the same way when had a frank and unofficial meeting with SOCAR president, Mr. Rovnag Abdullayev.

 

The meeting was really very interesting. Although I was a participant of that meeting, looking from aside it turned to be very frank picture for me. It looked like father had gathered all his children around him and having frank conversation with them listened and answered their questions. Actually, apart from the strictness Mr. Abdullayev possesses due to occupied position, I did not expect the meeting to be so sincere, but afterwards I gained the confidence on how modest and sincere this man is. We gained a lot from the meeting, and we have got complete and logical answers to our questions. The meeting was so interesting that no one wanted the conversation and discussion to end. Mr. Abdullayev was answering the questions with more enthusiasm. When he was stating that our youth and energy inspired him, his sincerity was clearly seen. This meeting got engraved in our memories as one of the most significant during our student life.

 

This meeting also stayed memorable for me because I have got my first present from the president of SOCAR. At the very start of the conversation he told that he would give a present to the student with the most frank and logical question. The most attractive moment for me connected with the meeting was when Mr. Abdullayev chose my question and presented me the award. I was very happy to be selected. The company’s name, SOCAR, is written on my gift, and every time I do my homework that gift on my table reminds me of the pleasant moments and impressions of that day.
