Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Bukhara State University visited the Baku Higher Oil School

Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Bukhara State University of Uzbekistan Astildin Nizamov visited the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR.

Welcoming the guest, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov expressed pleasure with seeing him at the university.  Elmar Gasimov emphasized that “collaboration between the two higher education institutions is developing successfully.”

“The cooperation within the framework of the Double Degree Program signed between Baku Higher Oil School and Bukhara State Technical University is now yielding positive results. Under this Program, 7 students from Bukhara State Technical University are currently studying in the second year of the master's program in Chemical Engineering at Baku Higher Oil School.”

Astildin Nizamov, in turn, highly praised the modern material and technical infrastructure, favorable academic environment and learning conditions that had been created for students at the university. The Vice-Rector noted with satisfaction the high level of organization of the educational process, as well as the special attention paid to the development of students' knowledge and skills.

In conclusion, the sides exchanged views on the prospects for expanding cooperation in higher education, increasing the number of joint programs, and expanding opportunities for academic exchange.
