Committee of Trade Union of Students of the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) held reporting –election conference. The Conference was attended by Elmar Gasimov, rector of BHOS, Rashad Hasanov, Prorector for General Affairs, Habiba Sadigli, Chairperson of BHOS Trade Union Committee and head of the Department for work with students and BHOS students.

 

The opening speech of the event was made by Rector who spoke about the activity  and significance of BHOS Student Committee of Trade Union and the role of students in the work of the Committee. Rector answered questions interesting for students and expressed his kind wishes to the new staff. Ravan Adilov, 4^th year student in “Oil and gas engineering” who chaired the BHOS SCTU in past reporting period made a reporting speech and gave his proposals regarding the members of the new staff.

 

Following the comments and proposals made regarding the report on past reporting period, the conference considered the report acceptable in general. Following the speech, Rashid Aliyev, 2^nd year student in “Oil and gas engineering” of BHOS was elected the new chairman of the BHOS SCTU.

 

At the end, Rashid Aliyev and new members of the Committee informed the conference participants on their future plans of action.
