BHOS, Atyrau University of Oil and Gas sign additional protocol

An Additional Protocol to the Memorandum of Cooperation signed on August 1, 2022 between the Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS) and the Atyrau University of Oil and Gas named after Safi Utebayev in Kazakhstan has been signed.

Within the framework of the signed Additional Protocol, the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Scientific and Educational Center was established on the territory of BHOS. The new center will carry out scientific research activities in the fields of oil and gas industry, energy and ecology, aimed at supporting initiatives in the field of reducing carbon dioxide emissions, digitalization and sustainable development.

In addition to supporting the development of specialists in this field, these initiatives will serve to further expand cooperation in education and research between the two fraternal countries.
