Rector Elmar Gasimov participates in Industrial Safety Summit

A panel discussion on the topic "From Synergy to Energy" was held as part of the Industrial Safety Summit organized under the slogan "Towards Zero". 

Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR Elmar Gasimov spoke at the event.

Elmar Gasimov emphasized the importance of implementing innovations and collaborating towards a carbon-free future. He noted the importance of accelerating the transition to alternative energy sources, strengthening industrial safety, and combating climate change. The rector also highlighted the importance of Azerbaijan’s hosting COP29 and the role of student volunteers in organizing this event.

The event was organized by the Azerbaijan State Scientific Research Institute of Labor Protection and Safety Techniques of the Ministry of Emergency Situations together with the "Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association" Public Union.
