BHOS hosts COP29 event

The Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR has hosted an event on “ELSA International Conference on Climate Change and Energy Law” as part of COP29.

The event was attended by Nigar Arpadarai, UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for COP29 Azerbaijan, and Leyla Hasanova, Youth Climate Champion for COP29 Azerbaijan.

In his opening speech, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov spoke about the importance of the event held within the framework of COP29 and emphasized the growing impact of environmental issues at the global level. The rector called on students to be more responsible in matters of environmental protection and sustainable development.

Further presentations were made by representatives of EY Azerbaijan, PwC Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijan Investment Company OJSC.

At the end of the event, certificates were presented to the participants.

The event was organized by ELSA Azerbaijan.
