BHOS student wins second place in HackMasters Cyber Security Competition
The team, among whose members was Ali Maharramli, a V-year student of the Information Security Department of Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS), won the second place in the HackMasters Cyber Security Competition.
The Innovation and Digital Development Agency’s cybersecurity team competed with participants from 18 countries, and also battled for victory with teams from Pakistan, Kuwait, Qatar and Lebanon.
Each team consisted of 4 CTF experts who demonstrated their technical skills throughout the competition.
The competition was organized by the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The finalists will participate in the awarding ceremony to be held in Istanbul in November. On November 4, 2024, the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency of Turkey will award the members of the winning team at an event to be held within the framework of the 40th ISEDAK Ministerial Meeting.
