Head of TUBITAK BILGEM Center Ali Gorcin visits BHOS

The president of the Informatics and Information Security Research Center (BILGEM) of the Scientific and Technological Research Council (TUBITAK) of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey Ali Gorcin has visited Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).

BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov informed the guest about the modern educational conditions and research environment created at the university, as well as about the successes achieved by BHOS students and graduates. Speaking about the importance of cooperation with TUBITAK, the rector noted that such partnership has a positive impact on the professional development of students and graduates.

Then Ali Gorcin gave detailed information about the history, activities and strategic directions of BILGEM. He also shared his experience with the students and gave them some recommendations for career development.

The meeting discussed the possibility of organizing summer industrial internships for students at various enterprises of the company and the impact of artificial intelligence on engineering.
