Elmar Gasimov participates in Forum of Azerbaijani Scientists Living Abroad

The Forum of Azerbaijani Scientists Living Abroad was organized by the World Association of Azerbaijani Scholars with the support of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora and the Ministry of Science and Education.

A panel entitled “The role of scientists in the internationalization of science and higher education in Azerbaijan” was held within the Forum, in which about 200 scientists participated, including more than 80 Azerbaijani scientists from 23 countries.  

Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov also spoke at the panel held in question-and-answer format. In his speech, the rector emphasized the important role played by scientists in strengthening international cooperation. 

“This approach will make an important contribution to the networking of Azerbaijani scientists around the world. The active participation of our scientists at the international level will make it possible to increase the scientific potential of Azerbaijan and strengthen the position of our country in the field of science. Such measures contribute to the development of international cooperation. BHOS holds an important position in this regard, as it trains world-class engineers and introduces them not only to Azerbaijan, but to all over the world.”

The Forum aims to foster connections among Azerbaijani scientists abroad, facilitate interactions with local scientists, and promote the exchange of knowledge and experience.
