Baku Higher Oil School starts cooperation with Bilasuvar Lyceum-School Complex named after National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov

A Memorandum of Understanding on mutual cooperation has been signed between Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) and Bilasuvar Lyceum-School Complex named after National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov.

An event was held on this occasion, which was attended by Head of Bilasuvar District Executive Power Faig Gurbatov; Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov; Executive Director of Bilasuvar Lyceum-School Complex Agshin Bagirov; the father of National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov, Agakerim Ibrahimov; heads of law enforcement bodies of Bilasuvar district, Bilasuvar District branch of New Azerbaijan Party, Regional Culture Department, Regional Youth and Sports Department,  a number of secondary schools and the staff of Bilasuvar Lyceum-School Complex.

Speaking at the event, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov said that the purpose of the Memorandum is to promote the exchange of advanced experience in the field of education and training and to implement and strengthen mutual cooperation between Baku Higher Oil School and Bilasuvar Lyceum-School Complex.

The document provides for the organization of local and international seminars, webinars, conferences, symposiums and debates with the participation of university and high school students, conducting joint scientific research on various important topics, development and implementation of innovative projects.  

At the same time, it is planned to involve teachers of Natural Sciences of Bilasuvar Lyceum-School Complex in specialization-related trainings and projects implemented at BHOS, organize tours to BHOS for students of the Complex, involve BHOS students in pedagogical internship programs implemented at the Complex, implement joint projects and programs of mutual interest, and to provide support for the professional development of teachers.

Speaking at the event, Head of Bilasuvar District Executive Power Faig Gurbatov and Executive Director of Bilasuvar Lyceum-School Complex Agshin Bagirov expressed their views on the importance of the Memorandum. They emphasized that both educational institutions would benefit from mutual cooperation.
