SOCAR representatives meet with Information Security students at Baku Higher Oil School

SOCAR President’s Adviser Murad Abdullayev, Deputy Head of SOCAR’s Human Resources Department Ayten Farzaliyeva and representative of Caspian Innovation Center Rauf Mahmudlu have met with students of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) majoring in Information Security.

During the meeting, the representatives of SOCAR made presentations on innovations implemented in the field of Information Security, SOCAR’s strategy, the company's personnel potential, and the importance of Information Security.

It was noted that importance is attached to the strengthening of personnel potential and wide-scope works are being done in this direction.

Speaking at the meeting, Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov said that the “Information Security” specialty was opened at Baku Higher Oil School for the first time in Azerbaijan and that this year the university will hold the first graduation ceremony for its students majoring in this specialty. The rector emphasized that these students are being trained as professionals with excellent command of English and that he is confident that they will contribute to the development of this field as highly skilled specialists.  

At the end of the meeting, the representatives of SOCAR answered the students' questions.
