Baku Higher Oil School hosts XXV National Scientific Conference of PhD students and young researchers
The opening ceremony of the XXV National Scientific Conference (NASCO) of PhD students and young researchers has been held under the joint organization of the Institute of Education and Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).
Opening the event with an introductory speech, Rufat Azizov, deputy chairman of the organizing committee, director of the Institute of Education, made a presentation on the conference.
Welcoming the conference participants, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev emphasized the special importance of NASCO for PhD students and young researchers. He stressed that close cooperation between higher education institutions and research institutes creates favorable conditions for the development of young scientists.
Gunay Kazimzade, a PhD student of the Technical University of Berlin, spoke about the new legislation on artificial intelligence, global trends, doctoral studies, and practical training in academic laboratories.
Konul Gahramanova, a PhD student of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives named after Academician Ali Guliyev, made a presentation on the topic “Chemical science in Azerbaijan: its yesterday, today and future development prospects”.
Elmar Gasimov, Rector of Baku Higher Oil School, a venue of NASCO, welcomed the guests and wished success to the conference participants.
After the speeches, the scientific conference continued with panels and section meetings.
The conference continues its work today.
