       BHOS Computer Sciences and ICT Department organized Petrel Fundamentals and Petrel Reservoir Engineering courses at BHOS from October 15 till October 21 for employees of BHOS Computer Sciences and ICT and Petroleum Engineering departments.

 

During the courses Schlumberger lead specialists Tatyana Topalova (Russia), Aibar Kamashev (Kazakhstan) and Samira Bagirova (Azerbaijan) made interesting presentations on Petrel program software. Along with the presentations, Petrel program based trainings including the discussions about well modernization, data analysis and seismic data interpretations were organized.

 

Participants of the courses were granted the certificates of Schlumberger. It should be pointed out that Petrel program aids to realize geophysical data processing, field development and real time reservoir characterization and geosteering.
