Baku Higher Oil School hosts meeting of management team of ITACA project
A meeting of the management team of the ITACA project has been held at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).
Opening the meeting, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov wished success to the participants and said that the ITACA project is one of the most important educational projects implemented by Azerbaijan and the European Union. Rector emphasized that BHOS is one of the partners of the ITACA project, as well as the host of the ITACA Training and Research Center.
During the four-day meeting, presentations were made on the work done within the project, and the work plan was discussed.
ITACA (Innovative training center to support a 3rd cycle advanced education course to face environmental emergency in Azerbaijan) is a project implemented within the framework of the “ERASMUS + KA2 - Capacity Building in Higher Education” program funded by the European Union.
The Sapienza University of Rome (Italy) acts as a coordinator of the ITACA project. The implementation of the project is managed jointly by Aalborg University (Denmark), University of Granada (Spain), University of Patras (Greece), Argus Umweltbiotechnologie GmbH (Germany), Baku Higher Oil School, Baku State University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Baku Engineering University, Azecolab, “Sukanal” Scientific-Research and Design Institute (Azerbaijan).
