Baku Higher Oil School to cooperate with Atyrau University of Oil and Gas in Kazakhstan

Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov has met with Rector of Atyrau University of Oil and Gas named after Safi Utebayev in Kazakhstan, Gulzada Shakulikova.  

At the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two universities on relevant areas.

Additionally, an agreement was reached on the implementation of a student exchange program for relevant specialties in the autumn semester of the 2022/2023 academic year.

During the meeting, the rectors exchanged views on the exchange of students and teachers between the two universities and the implementation of joint research projects in the relevant areas of the oil, gas and energy sector.

They also discussed the issue of taking joint initiatives in international projects related to the ecology of the Caspian Sea.
