Four graduates of Baku Higher Oil School win State Program
The 2022 bachelor graduates of the Chemical Engineering Department of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Jala Mammadova, Elvin Garashli and, Babek Rustamzade and the graduate of the Process Automation Engineering Department Ali Asgarov have won the State Program for the Education of Youth at Prestigious Universities of Foreign Countries for 2022-2026.
Jala Mammadova and Elvin Garashli will study Continuous Systems Engineering at the University of Freiburg in Germany, Babek Rustamzade will study Advanced Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester in the UK, and Ali Askerov will study Data Science at the Queen Mary University of London. All the educational expenses of these graduates will be covered by the states where they will study.
Jala Mammadova was named “The Best Student of the Graduation Year” in 2022. She entered BHOS with 700 points and retained the Presidential Scholarship for five years. Jala received positive responses from three higher education institutions in Germany and three in the UK.
Elvin Garashli was admitted to BHOS with 675 points. He received positive responses from universities in the U.S., Germany, Great Britain, Poland, and Italy. Elvin was also awarded a PhD scholarship by the Louisiana State University in the U.S.
Babek Rustamzade entered BHOS with 675 points. He received positive responses from 6 universities in the UK, 1 in the Netherlands and 1 in New Zealand.
Ali Asgarov entered BHOS with 690 points. He received positive responses from 12 universities in the UK, Italy, Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and the U.S.
