Information on the ‘Energy and the Fourth Industrial Revolution’ Hackathon Competition jointly organized by SOCAR and 4SIM

On September 9-11, 2022, Baku Higher Oil School will host the “Energy and the Fourth Industrial Revolution” Hackathon Competition  jointly organized by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM).

The competition aims at supporting innovative ideas regarding the application of green and digital energy technologies, the expansion of the use of renewable energy resources, and the strengthening of energy security in Azerbaijan, especially in the economic regions East Zangezur and Karabakh.  

In this context, the “Energy and the Fourth Industrial Revolution” Hackathon Competition will be held in the categories: Energy and the Internet of Things, Energy and Artificial Intelligence, Energy and Digital Economy.

According to the terms of the competition, the teams that will take first, second and third places will be awarded 5000, 3000 and 2000 AZN, respectively. Additionally, two more teams will awarded an incentive prize of 500 AZN.

Those who want to participate in the Hackathon can apply to the Organizing Committee until August 20.
