BHOS students win 3rd place in Enactus competition

Students of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) took part in the final stage of the Enactus Azerbaijan National Competition, won the 3rd place and received various awards.

The students participated in the competition with the project “Agroficient”.

The consultants of the project are Farad Kamyabi, head of the BHOS Innovation & Research Center, and Elmar Askarzade, an employee of this center.

The members of the team are Mirkazim Agayev, a third-year student of the Chemical Engineering Department (team leader);  Firangiz Suleymanova, a second-year student of the Chemical Engineering Department; Leyla Osmanova, a fourth-year student of the Chemical Engineering Department; Malik Sultanov, a second-year student of the Petroleum Engineering Department; Emil Huseynli, a third-year student of the Petroleum Engineering Department; Jamila Abilova, a third-year student of the Process Automation Engineering Department.

Fourth-year students of the Chemical Engineering Department Jabrayil Abdinbeyov and Ayshan Zulfiyeva, fourth-year student of the Petroleum Engineering Department Ugur Pashayev, and second-year student of the Information Security Department Ravan Hajiyev also took part in the competition.

The project “Agroficient” aims at reducing water consumption during the irrigation of cultivated areas and increasing productivity in agriculture.

Five entrepreneurs who have benefited from Agroficient have said that the project have helped them to significantly increase productivity.
