The top Petroleum Engineering student: ‘BHOS has the most ideal academic environment’

Kanan Mammadov is one of this year's graduates of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). He entered BHOS in 2017 with 665 points. Kanan had been a top student at the Petroleum Engineering Department up to his graduation. The successful student was awarded a student scholarship named after academician Khoshbakht Yusifzade, established by Baku Higher Oil School, for the high results achieved by him during the academic years and his particularly active participation in the social and public life of the university.

Kanan scored 93 points in the master's degree exam conducted by the State Examination Center   and he entered the Field Assessment and Management specialty of BHOS.

Kanan has a great interest in science. His scientific work on “Operation of wells, development of fields and optimization of production” was awarded the first place at the III International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Researchers held at Baku Higher Oil School. 

Kanan Mammadov will also work as a senior laboratory technician at Baku Higher Oil School. Although he has received a job offer to work in industry, he has chosen to work in an academic environment and engage in research. Kanan, who likes the academic environment and wants to work with students, thinks that BHOS is the most ideal place for this. He says that BHOS has given him high education, experience, good acquaintances and friends.
