Khatai District Organization of New Azerbaijan Party holds event at Area Party Organization located at Khojaly Avenue 30

The Khatai District Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) has held an event at the Area Party Organization located at Khojaly Avenue 30. 

At the event, Elmar Gasimov, a member of the NAP Board and the rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), spoke about the factors that have led to the transformation of the New Azerbaijan Party, founded by the great leader Heydar Aliyev, into a vanguard force of society, which plays a leading role in the social and political life of our country.

"This year we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the New Azerbaijan Party. The past 30 years show a clear picture of the glorious path the party has taken. The New Azerbaijan Party, which has won the love of millions thanks to its commitment to the path it has taken and its compliance with the vows it has made, has a great share in the success of Azerbaijan, which has achieved a sustainable economic development. NAP constantly strives to make our state much stronger and people’s living conditions much better. All the initiatives and decisions made by our party serve this purpose.  Innovation and improvement is the main direction of NAP's activity. The new decisions taken by the New Azerbaijan Party, which held its 7th congress last year against the background of our historic Victory, herald a more successful future."

Noting that NAP mainly unites scientists and students in its ranks, the rector spoke about the attention and care shown to the development of science in our country by President Ilham Aliyev, whose motto “Let's turn oil capital into human capital!” has been successfully realized.

"Azerbaijan has always been in the spotlight for its contributions to world science. Ensuring the unity of science and new technologies has contributed significantly to the development of the country's economy. Azerbaijan can successfully overcome any economic difficulty because it has been building its economy on a strong scientific foundation.  Azerbaijan will achieve greater success in the coming years under the leadership of Mr. Ilham Aliyev, a successful follower of Heydar Aliyev's policy. Every member of the New Azerbaijan Party is a propagandist of these successes and Heydar Aliyev's ideas."

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Area Party Organization of the Khatai District Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party and BHOS Vice-Rector Zafar Gurbanov said that NAP is the most influential party in our country, which has contributed to Azerbaijan’s success.

 “NAP is confidently moving towards new goals, and it is gratifying that the number of its members has raised to about 800,000 people”.

Zafar Gurbanov spoke about the leading position and role of the New Azerbaijan Party, which was founded by the great leader Heydar Aliyev, in the social and political life of our country. He said that the New Azerbaijan Party is taking serious steps towards strengthening our country under the leadership of Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

"In 2020, Azerbaijan wrote the most unforgettable chronicle of its heroic history. Everyone is proud of the large-scale works that have been carried out in the post-conflict period within the short-term “Great Return” program led by the head of state. Today, major construction and reconstruction works are being carried out in our liberated lands. Our free Karabakh, our free Shusha are turning into a Paradise Corner. Every member of the party should contribute to these works."

Vugar Rahimzadeh, Chairman of the Khatai District Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, talked about the successes of the 30-year-old party, which has won the love of millions, enriching its ranks in terms of quantity and quality, defining its goals based on the requirements of the time and taking continuous steps to achieve them.

"YAP has been recognized as a national party and has gained prestige since its inception. The fact that today NAP counts around 800,000 members in its ranks testifies to the loyalty to Heydar Aliyev's ideas and confidence in President Ilham Aliyev's policy. The New Azerbaijan Party, which has its share in every success of Azerbaijan, keeps the "Strong state, high prosperity!" principle at the forefront of its activities, constantly increases its efforts to strengthen Azerbaijan's position in the international arena and promote the truth about our country. Today, all the people of Azerbaijan, including every NAP member, are proud of their country.  Our Historic Victory calls on each of us to support the translation of goals into reality for a more successful future. Thanks to the unity of words and deeds, NAP is increasing its reputation as a vanguard force of the society day by day.”

Speaking about the tasks laid out by NAP Chairman Ilham Aliyev in his programmatic speech at the VII congress of the party, Vugar Rahimzadeh stressed that new realities require harder work.  Chairman of NAP Khatai Regional Organization expressed confidence that the Area Party Organization located at Khojaly Avenue 30 will further expand its ranks in the future, adding that Baku Higher Oil School has gained a great reputation as a higher education institution. He said that because of its successes, BHOS, which has been existing for only 11 years, gives the impression that it has traveled a 100-year journey. “This university trains highly qualified specialists who contribute to the successful future of Azerbaijan.”

Then, organizational issues were discussed. Emil Aslanli was elected the new chairman of the Area Party Organization located at Khojaly Avenue 30, and Elmir Gurbanov was elected the deputy chairman.

Emil Aslanli, the new chairman of the Area Party Organization and the head of the Career and Student Affairs Department of BHOS, spoke extensively about the successful development of Azerbaijan and the opportunities that the advanced reforms initiated by the head of state Ilham Aliyev have opened up for our country. He said that the improvement activities carried out in accordance with the requirements of the time not only contributed to achieving success in all areas, but also set important tasks ahead. The New Azerbaijan Party has always contributed to the reform process, and today it is confidently moving towards new goals.

Emil Aslanli expressed his gratitude for the trust shown in him. He noted that it is a great honor and pride to be a member of the New Azerbaijan Party.

"NAP is a party that plays a great role in the politics implemented by our state and serves our successful future. All conditions have been created in NAP for young people to make maximum use of their potential. Being a member of such a powerful party is also a great responsibility."

Elmar Gasimov, a member of the NAP Board and the rector of BHOS, and Vugar Rahimzadeh, the chairman of the Khatai District Organization of NAP, wished success to the new composition of the party’s leadership.
