Elmar Gasimov has met with BHOS students who were admitted to doctoral studies in US universities

Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov has met with fifth-year students of Process Automation Engineering Department Khagan Karimov, Sanan Hasanov, Isa Jafarov and fifth-year student of Chemical Engineering Department Rashad Ahmadov, who were awarded full doctoral scholarships from prestigious US universities.

Congratulating the students, the rector wished them success in their doctoral pursuits. Elmar Gasimov advised the students, who are the intellectual soldiers of Azerbaijan, to represent honorably their country and university abroad.

Khagan Karimov, Sanan Hasanov and Isa Jafarov will study in the direction "Cybersecurity" of the Computer Science specialty. Rashad Ahmadov will study in the direction of Chemical Engineering. All these students were awarded full doctoral scholarships, regardless of the fact that they do not have master’s degrees.

Although each of these students had been admitted simultaneously to several universities, Khagan Karimov chose the University of Utah, Sanan Hasanov chose the University of Central Florida, Isa Jafarov – the City University of New York, and Rashad Ahmadov – the University of Rochester.
