Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov has congratulated BHOS students who have won the right to participate in Teknofest, Turkey's largest airspace and technology festival to be held in Baku in May:

Dear students, I congratulate each of the student teams of Baku Higher Oil School that have won the right to participate in Teknofest, Turkey's largest airspace and technology festival to be held in Baku this year!

The fact that 25 teams representing BHOS have advanced to the next stage of the Festival made each of us happy. These teams showed high results in seven Teknofest competitions and passed to the next stage.

Three teams representing BHOS will participate in the next stage of 2 different competitions. They are “Agrarian Technologies” and "Hakari" on "Socially Oriented Technologies", "Green Technologies" and “Khazri" on "Agrarian Technologies", ""Robotechnika" and "Mubariz" on "Cansat".

We are confident that all teams will honorably represent our university at this International Festival.

The Teknofest festival has been organized annually by the Turkish Technology Team (T3 Foundation) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey since 2018. The fact that Teknofest, Turkey’s largest aerospace and technology festival, will be held  for the first time outside Turkey in Azerbaijan once again  testifies to the friendly, fraternal and strategic alliance existing between the two countries.

It is a matter of great pride that our students participate very successfully in prestigious international and national competitions, contests and festivals. BHOS students are intellectual soldiers of Azerbaijan. Our students continue their education in the most prestigious universities in America and Europe, or work in transnational companies.

You have achieved the most important and first success of your life by being awarded the title of “Student of Baku Higher Oil School”. This success is the beginning of other successes that you will achieve throughout your life and that will always accompany you.
