.
Aziz Falakzadeh spoke about the formation of teams, criteria for project development, the annual National Competition and the International Cup. The program director noted that the team, which takes the first place in the National Competition to be held in May 2020, will gain the right to represent its country and its projects at the World Cup to be held in the Netherlands.
Then, a BHOS student, Fidan Jabrayilova, who participated in the National Final of the last year’s competition as the captain of the Enactus BHOS team and co-author of the project Aquair, shared her experience and successes with the students.
Note that the Enactus competition has been held in Azerbaijan for already 11 years. Enactus, which stands for: en – entrepreneurial, act – action, us – united, is an international program that brings together students, scientists, and business leaders to achieve global development through entrepreneurship. Within the Enactus project, students form teams at their universities, led by leading scientists or heads of business organizations, with the purpose of developing joint social business projects aimed at improving people's living standards.
The main goal of the program is to promote entrepreneurship among students and nurture future entrepreneurs. The champion team gets the right to fight for the World Cup. Thus, in the framework of the competition, a youth work program for each academic year is developed. At the end of the academic year, the National Competition is held among university teams. The winning team gains the right to participate in the World Cup.
