Professor of Baku Higher Oil School elected chairman of international conference
Professor of Process Automation Engineering Department of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Gancho Vachkov took part in the 19th Conference on Technology, Culture and International Stability (TECIS 2019), which was organized by the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) in Sozopol city, Bulgaria.
The conference discussed issues related to the development of information technologies, new trends observed in this area, application of modern technologies, implementation of innovative, promising ideas and programs in the field of automation.
At the plenary session of the conference, Gancho Vachkov gave a report on “Detection of Negative Changes in Operation of Complex Machines and Industrial Systems”.
During the conference, Professor Gancho Vachkov was elected chairman of the section "Intelligent Systems and Applications - II".
He also made a presentation at the conference on the topic “Data Stream Mining for Anomaly and Change Detection in Continuous Plant Operation”.
The presentation aroused great interest among the conference participants.
TECIS is an annual international conference hosted by IFAC. Over 130 speakers from 18 countries, including Russia, Bulgaria and other European countries, the Middle East, India and the USA, attended this year’s conference.
Note that the previous TECIS 2018 conference was held in Baku.
