Elmar Gasimov meets with foreign students studying at Baku Higher Oil School

         Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov have met with foreign students who will study at the BHOS in the 2019/20 academic year.

 

         The meeting was also attended by representatives of different departments of Baku Higher Oil School.

 

         At the meeting, Elmar Gasimov spoke about the conditions created for foreign students in our country, which is distinguished by its strong commitment to the observance of the principles of tolerance and preservation of multicultural traditions.

 

            He noted that as a result of the propaganda activities that had been carried out effectively in the direction of training qualified specialists, 7 foreign citizens from different countries became students of Baku Higher Oil School in the new academic year.

 

            The rector emphasized that the rules for training foreigners and stateless persons in the Republic of Azerbaijan were approved by Resolution No. 125 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated May 1, 2015.

 

            Elmar Gasimov also provided the gathering with detailed information about the history of creation and development of Baku Higher Oil School, the successes achieved by the BHOS in recent years, as well as about the school’s international relations and the projects it has implemented.

 

           Then the rector listened to the foreign students’ opinions and suggestions regarding their studies and provision, and gave instructions to the relevant departments to implement them.

 

            Foreign students, in turn, expressed their deep gratitude to the school’ leadership and teaching staff for the excellent conditions created in the school for their education.

 

           At the end of the meeting, the rector wished the students good luck and encouraged them to take an active part in lessons and social events held by the Baku Higher Oil School.
