BHOS students are invited to attend technical skills courses and practical trainings conducted in English language

         A meeting with representatives of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) was held at the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).

 

         The main purpose of the meeting was to inform the BHOS students about courses conducted jointly by the newly established IBA Tech Academy and the DAN.IT International Education Center, and to encourage their active participation in these courses.     

 

          Welcoming the guests, Vice-Rector of the BHOS Rashad Hasanovnoted that in the modern world the demand for specialists in information technology, automation and information security is growing and that the Baku Higher Oil School pays special attention to the training of such specialists.

 

          Advisor to Chairman of the Board of the International Bank of Azerbaijan Zaur Alekperov informed the gathering on the IBA Tech Academy. He emphasized that the idea of creating an academy arose within the framework of the Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy of the International Bank of Azerbaijan.

 

        “Courses will be held free of charge for students and will last 2 and a half months. Students who successfully complete the courses will have high chances of obtaining employment,” Zaur Alekperov said.

 

          Responsible executive of the IBA’s Human Resources Service Zemfira Babazade said that the courses will be conducted on the basis of Israel’s TELEM methodology with a focus on teaching students effective communication and professional skills.

 

         She noted that at within the courses, experienced specialists from the DAN.IT International Education Center will conduct practical trainings for students comprising 4 training modules.

 

         The students who successfully complete the four modules will receive certificates from both the IBA Tech Academy and the DAN.IT International Education Center.

 

        IBA’s IT developer Javid Musaibli said that any student over 18 years of age who is interested in the field of technology can apply for the courses.

 

        The students who have successfully registered for the courses will have to go through the following stages:

 

        Technical Knowledge Testing Stage – Students’ technical knowledge and skills in programming will be tested.

 

         Adam Milo Testing Stage – Students’ ability for logical thinking, their thinking mode, as well as their ability to concentrate will be tested.

 

        Interview Stage – Experts from the DAN.IT International Education Center will conduct online interviews with the candidates who have successfully completed the first two stages.

 

        100 most successful students will be selected from the candidates for participating in the courses, which will cover 300 hours.

The courses will start on October 10. The deadline for submitting documents is September 30.
