BHOS student will learn German for engineers in Germany

BHOS 3rd course student of Chemical Engineering, Leyla Pishiari participated at the contest Summer Language Course at German Universities held by The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Baku Information Center, and successfully passed the selection by language test and composition contest. She was selected for German language for the engineers course by Aachen University of Germany. The duration of the course will last from 4th of August till 28th of August.

Baku Information Center of DAAD was established based on the cooperation in the field of education between the two countries. DAAD realizes several scholarship programs each year such as summer language courses, master programs, scientific research offers and etc.

Baku Higher Oil School has close collaboration with Aachen University of Germany. At the beginning of the year rector of BHOS, Elmar Gasimov within his trip to Dusseldorf has signed an agreement on the establishment of Renewable Energy Centre at BHOS with support of E.ON, Europe’s well-known company. Furthermore, the intent protocol on the joint Renewable Energy Engineering and Petroleum Geosciences Engineering programs was signed between the institutions.

Adding the fact that BHOS held Winter Oil School by DAAD scholarship program last year. Within the winter school the students from different European higher educational institutions were delivered lectures by the faculty of BHOS.
