Bilasuvar Lyceum Students Visit Baku Higher Oil School

Final year students of Bilasuvar lyceum named after national hero Mubariz Ibrahimov visited Baku Higher Oil School.

Welcoming the students Habiba Sadigli, Head of Students Affairs Department, expressed her pleasure of meeting them at the higher school and made a presentation about BHOS.

Underlying the fact that in 2014-2015 academic year, BHOS was ranked first among the national higher education institutions in terms of the average entrance scores which constituted a total of 668.017 points and the higher school admitted 17 students awarded the Presidential Scholarship in the current academic year. Emphasizing those factors as the ones making BHOS the most attractive and well-recognized school for prospective students, she added that BHOS applied Heriot-Watt University curriculum and advanced training technologies, while ensuring transparent and unbiased knowledge assessment and close collaboration with SOCAR premises and international companies having presence in Baku. Some statistics, as well as detailed information about the minimum entrance scores per programme, partner institutions and the new campus was included into the presentation.

The presentation was followed by the Q&A Session. Later, the laboratories, the model of the new campus and the lecture rooms were introduced to the students.
