BHOS signs cooperation agreements with Schneider Electric and AVANDSIS GROUP
Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) signed cooperation agreements with Schneider Electric and AVANDSIS GROUP.
BHOS administration, faculty and students, the delegation of Schneider Electric led by Emrah Tekdemir, Central Asia Country President and AVANDSIS GROUP led by Director Hasan Suleymanov, as well as Charlotte Payen, representative for university relations of the French Embassy in Azerbaijan attended the ceremony.
Welcoming the guests rector Elmar Gasimov briefed about the activities of the higher school and partnership with various companies. Expressing his pleasure about the cooperation with well-recognised translational companies, Mr. Gasimov underlined the support rendered by the companies during a number of events organized at BHOS, especially AVANDSIS GROUP’s support to the recent Students Scientific and Technical Conference organized by BHOS and dedicated to the 92nd Anniversary of the National Leader Haydar Aliyev. Rector Gasimov emphasized that the partnership relations established with these two companies would have a significant role in specialist training within the frame of Process Automation Engineering Programme, adding the agreements would create new internship and career opportunities for the students.
Taking the floor Mr. Tekdemir briefed about Schneider Electric underlying that the company was having presence in Azerbaijan over ten years and extended his pleasure of having established collaboration with BHOS.
Then, Mr. Suleymanov had the floor and talked about further career opportunities for BHOS students available at the company, extending his personal interest in involving them to AVANDSIS GROUP operations.
Later, Ms. Payen took the floor and as the representative of the French Embassy in Azerbaijan expressed her pleasure of witnessing establishment of partnership relations among BHOS and the companies. Recalling her visit to the higher school back in 2013 Ms. Payen emphasized the importance of integrating theoretical and practical knowledge, which would be facilitated also due these agreements. She also noted that there were very good opportunities to pursue Master’s degree in France.
The speeches were followed by the agreement signing ceremony.
It is worth to note that the agreements will pave the way for material, technical, scientific and methodological support by the companies to ensure training of high quality specialists in Process Automation Engineering Programme.
