UNITAR reports about signing Partnership Agreement with BHOS
The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) informs about signing a Partnership Agreement with Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). The news is published on the organization’s official website. UNITAR announces that under the agreement, 15 Nigerian students will be trained and qualified in Petroleum Engineering receiving a bachelor’s degree at the end of their four-year study.
This agreement was made possible by partnership of the government of Nigeria and UNITAR, which aims at training of young scholars in technical manpower skills development relevant to the gas and oil industry, says the article. It also tells about history and achievements of the Higher School. “Today BHOS is the leading higher school of Azerbaijan and at top of their field in educating professional engineers. Their international significance is rising and UNITAR hopes to continue working with them in areas of sustainable development and capacity building,” reads the news release.
