My biggest dream came true: I am BHOS student!

Interview with Vasif Asadov who earned 700 points at the entrance exams

       – Please tell about yourself.

       – I was born on September 28, 2000, in the Ismayilli town. In 2007, I went to the first class of the 6th town school in Ismayilli. My father is working in Russia and my mother is a housewife. I am the oldest child in the family, and I have a  younger brother.

          – Vasif, why have you chosen Baku Higher Oil School?

          – I have been interested in engineering since my childhood. Actually, I was going to study abroad to receive good higher education. So, I started looking for a university, and BHOS was listed among others. I gathered as much information about the Higher School as possible and then I realized that BHOS was the only higher educational institution I needed.

         – Whom you are indebted for your success and achievements?

         – I am very grateful to my parents and my teachers and friends at the school, who greatly contributed to my successes in education.

        – What hobbies do you have? What do you do in your leisure time?

        – I like reading very much, so I can say that this is my hobby. Naturally, last year I was fully occupied with entrance exams preparations, but I like fiction books since I learned to read at the primary school. In addition, I like playing chess and volleyball and going in for sports.

       – Have you decided yet what you would do after graduation from BHOS?

      – I am going to continue my education at one of universities abroad, most probably in the USA or Germany.

      – At BHOS, you will study Process Automation Engineering. What do you like in this profession?

      – I became interested in this field after I learned that you needed to earn very high score to be Process Automation Engineering student. I like competitions and I like to win, so I was determined to get the highest possible score and study this specialty. Just imagine that prospective students have to earn no less than 685 points to be eligible to study Process Automation Engineering! This implies strong competition and high-quality education.

      – What would you advise to those young people who have not chosen their profession yet?

      – Without the slightest hesitation, I would advise all those prospective students who take exams in the first group of specializations to choose the Baku Higher Oil School. I was very impressed by the School campus, which I visited. I am happy that my biggest dream came true and I became BHOS student. I wish all other young people who would like to study here to achieve their goal, too.
