         Training Centre of SOCAR’s Education, Training and Certification Department (ETCD) conducted a course on professional ethics at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). The five-day training was held for the first and second-year students. Deputy Head of the ETCD’s Training Centre Farid Babayev and Deputy Head of the Education Quality Control department Rasul Hadjiyev conducted the lessons for the students who were divided in several groups.

 

                The training was aimed to prepare future specialists to meet the challenges they may face in their future professional activities and to raise their awareness of the professional ethics and business conduct, professional rights and obligations, and norms of the professional behavior. The students were acquainted with business communications skills, communications tools and methods, and ethical principles of decision-making. They were also introduced to other related topics on the subject including staff members’ solidarity, conflict management and problem solving.
