          Issues of energy security of Southeastern Europe and Southern Gas Corridor will be discussed at an international conference to be held at new campus of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). This subject was discussed at a meeting of the Higher School’s rector Elmar Gasimov with Charge d'affaires of the Republic of Bulgaria in Azerbaijan Yanko Yanakiev.

 

          The rector informed the honorable guest about main activities and achievements of BHOS, its cooperation with international companies and organizations, and the Higher School’s experience in conducting large conferences and other events. As the First Secretary informed, well-known Azerbaijani and international experts, specialists, scientists as well as representatives of state agencies and mass media would be invited to attend the event. The rector Elmar Gasimov thanked Yanko Yanakiev for the offer and expressed the willingness to provide all necessary support for implementation of this important initiative. The meeting participants also discussed other issues related to preparations and joint arrangements for the international conference on the energy security in the region.
