            The finale phase of the “Debate Tournament” in the frames of National Debate Programme dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of New Azerbaijan Party was jointly organized by Youth Union of New Azerbaijan Party and Public Union of Debate Civil Society at new campus of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). During the event chair of the committee of the national parliament on public unions and religious associations, deputy executive secretary of New Azerbaijan Party Mr. Siyavush Novruz congratulated all members of the party on the occasion of the anniversary. Then he briefed on the history of creation of the party, its activities and contributions it made to Azerbaijani youth.

 

            BHOS rector Elmar Gasimov greeting participants of the event and said he was glad to see guests at BHOS new campus. Underlining the fact that young members of New Azerbaijan Party were always developing within social and political atmosphere BHOS rector stressed irreplaceable role of the party in formation and development of the contemporary youth of Azerbaijan.

 

            Then there started debate on “Garabagh is the largest conflict within CIS” between the teams - qualifiers to the final phase of the tournament representing Sabail and Yasamal districts. 

 

            During the award ceremony of the final phase 10 best participants and the referee were granted the award. The speaker who took the first place was awarded the certificate and medal by BHOS rector Elmar Gasimov.
