Senior lecturer of Petroleum Engineering Department of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Farad Kamyabi attended and presented a speech at the fourth Workshop on Mature Fields Development organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) in Moscow. During the two-day event, the delegates participated in four sessions and in the round table on Digital Technologies, Machine Learning and Processes Automatization.

The Higher School’s senior lecturer Farad Kamyabi participated in all discussions and sessions conducted on the following topics: “Localization of Remaining Oil in Place”, “Technology Selection by Type of Remaining Oil in Place. Is Enhanced Oil Recovery a Universal Remedy for Depleted Fields?”, “Waterflooding of Depleted Fields: Expediency, Technological and Economic Efficiency” and “Reservoir Management for Mature Fields: Integrated Approach.” At the workshop, he also made a report entitled “Utilization of Nanotechnoloy for Enhanced Waterflooding Oil Recovery: A Case Study”.
