Third and fourth-year students of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) attended a workshop on Competitive Programming Problems & Solutions conducted by an experienced trainer and a highly qualified expert in this subject prof. Michael Medvedev. It was aimed at empowering the students with knowledge and skills to enable them to successfully participate in, and represent both the Higher School and Azerbaijan at, international competitive programming contests.

During the workshop, prof. Medvedev and the undergraduates discussed various problems faced by the contestants of competitive programming and the ways to address them. The students also received valuable practical advice and recommendations on the subject of study.

The BHOS management constantly supports students’ initiatives and provides them with all necessary assistance and opportunities to participate in tournaments and competitions including competitive programming and information technologies contests.
