New stage of cooperation between BHOS and DAAD

Representatives of German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) conducted a meeting at new campus of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) and presented the organization’s current activities and projects. Detailed information was provided about one of DAAD’s programs, which awards competitive, merit-based grants to foreign students for their study or research at accredited German higher educational institutions and research centers.

The German Academic Exchange Service is an internationally recognized organization and unites 230 German participating universities and 126 student organizations. In Azerbaijan, DAAD works within a Cooperation Agreement signed with Ministry of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic, and BHOS actively supports this cooperation by strengthening partnership relations with the German Academic Exchange Service.

Speaking at the meeting, representative of the Information Centre of DAAD office in Baku Khikmet Kamally told about the organization’s scholarship and international exchange programs and provided detailed information about application process and requirements for admission. He also answered numerous questions from the students.

A while ago, BHOS and DAAD jointly implemented "Baku Summer Oil School" project, which was conducted in the framework of ‘Go East’ program. Students of a number of the most prestigious German universities participated in the project, which was successfully realized in Baku.

The German Academic Exchange Service has already announced admission to the scholarship program for study at German universities, which always raises a great interest of BHOS students.
