          Team BHOS2 of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) took fourth place at the Republican Olympiad in informatics among university students. Dedicated to the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, the Olympiad was jointly organized by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Ministry of Education and Institute of Information Technologies of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The BHOS2 team included third-year year Process Automation Engineering students Elton Ibrahimov, Ayaz Samedli and Emin Huseynli.

 

          The final stage of the Republican Olympiad in informatics gathered 16 teams of 16 higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan. The BEU Programmers team of Baku Engineering University took the first place, CtrlZ team of Baku State University took the 2nd place and ADA U1 team of ADA University took the 3rd place. The winners were presented with honorary certificates and diplomas from the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies as well as valuable prizes from Azerfon and BestComp Group companies.
