          Principal and Vice-Chancellor of Heriot-Watt University Professor Richard Williams sent a congratulatory letter to Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov on the opening of the new campus of the Higher School. The letter says, “On behalf of Heriot-Watt University, please accept my congratulations on the opening of the new BHOS campus. I understand from my colleague professor Ford that the opening ceremony was a very successful and enjoyable event.

 

          We greatly appreciated the opportunity for Professor Ford to attend this ceremony, and to meet the President of Azerbaijan. It was an excellent chance to highlight Heriot-Watt’s pride in our partnership with BHOS, and to emphasize our long-term commitment to work with Azerbaijan.

 

I am very much looking forward to the first graduation ceremony at your new campus on 10 July, and it will be a pleasure to meet you again then. Congratulations again on your new campus.”
