Meeting with JGC Corporation Representative at BHOS

            JGC Corporation may become one of many international companies, which established close cooperation with Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). Prospects of such cooperation, among other issues, were discussed at a meeting of BHOS Vice-Rector of Training, Science and International Relations Ramiz Humbatov and Dean of BHOS Lifelong Learning department, professor Rena Mustafayeva with Manager of the JGC Corporation’s Europe/CIS Sales Department, Global Marketing Division, Taishi Yoshida. Senior representatives of SOCAR’s Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Rahman Rasulzadeh and Baladadash Zeynalov also attended the meeting.

 

         

          Ramiz Humbatov told that in the framework of the Higher School’s partnership with large oil and gas companies their representatives regularly make presentations and conduct workshops and training courses for BHOS students and teachers. These companies also offer opportunities for the Higher School students’ internship at their facilities and many of them set up university laboratories with modern equipment and advanced technologies at the BHOS new campus.

 

          The meeting participants discussed spheres of the future bilateral cooperation and agreed to draft Memorandum of Understanding on Mutual Cooperation for further consideration. Ramiz Humbatov also invited Taishi Yoshida to participate in the 2nd SOCAR International Caspian and Central Asia Downstream forum on Trading, Logistics, Refining and Petrochemicals. It is organized jointly by SOCAR and British Company Capital Confidence and will be held in Baku on April 25-28, 2017. The Forum Program Committee is chaired by the Rector of the Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov; Managing Director of the Confidence Capital Ltd. Andrew Rudenko is Co-Chairman of the Committee.
