A meeting of two representatives of Heriot-Watt University, Ruth Moir, Assistant Principal (International Development), and Kevin J McCullough, Director of International Relations, School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, was held with management and higher-education teaching personnel of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). Opening the meeting at BHOS, the Rector Elmar Gasimov dwelled on prospects of further enhancement of the cooperation between the university and the Higher School and informed about successful developments in this field.

 

Speaking about extension of BHOS’ relations with Heriot-Watt University, which is one of the most prestigious university in Great Britain, Elmar Gasimov emphasized the necessity of development joint Master degree programs.

 

Ways of enhancing cooperation between two higher education facilities in the field of implementation of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, development of invigilation procedures and other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
